Circles

Circles are groups of three to six people who meet once or twice a month for about 90 minutes, focused on meaningful connection and intentional growth. Guided by the scripture, “And let us consider each other carefully for the purpose of sparking love and good deeds” (Hebrews 10:24 CEB), these gatherings provide a safe, grace-filled space for participants on a journey to enCOURAGE the vibrant, flourishing lives God envisions for us. The mission of Circles is to foster a community where those on the same quest can embark on a transformative journey towards a meaningful, flourishing life of wholeness, marked by love and goodness, as defined by Jesus's Good News. By committing just one and a half to three hours a month, we will invest in a transformative journey toward this vision of the "good life." The first pilot Circles group was started in the fall of 2024. In 2025, this first Circle will become three Circles so that more people can join.

Circles Are for the Following Types of People

(If any of the following apply, you might seriously consider joining a Circle)

  • People who are carrying heavy loads and tired of going it alone.

  • People who know there is something more to life, but feel stuck.

  • People who are interested in becoming more vibrant and alive to why God put them on this planet.

  • People who are searching for direction or meaning.

  • People who want to be open about their struggles, and are looking for encouragement, and even challenge, but not judgment or broken confidentiality.

  • People who want to go beyond the superficial spirituality of most church experiences.

  • People who have been through some stuff, have lived to tell about it, and have wisdom and encouragement to offer.

  • People who are committed to moving beyond the status quo no matter what it takes and are looking to connect with people on the same journey.

  • People who know they are not perfect, and neither is anyone else, so they can show up with grace, compassion, and non-judgment.
