Now lay in a relaxed
position. Become aware that you are
being firmly supported by your bed. Breathe
deeply and slowly. Relax and feel the
weight of your body sinking down.
Realize that you are in the hands of God. Release your cares and concerns over to God
and be at peace as you drift off to sleep.
If you are having a hard
time quieting your mind, simply memorize this prayer and repeat it over and
over erasing all else from your mind.
The peace of God be over me to shelter me,
Under me to uphold me,
About me to protect me,
Behind me to direct me,
Ever
with me to save me.
